Google gets a new favicon! After a long period of time Google changed its primitive looking favicon with a stylish one. Google has doesn’t something wrong here by choosing color in its new favicon which does not give much hint of Google. I mean when I first noticed this new favicon, I just looked at the link immediately thinking that I have by mistake entered a wrong URL. There was a need to change the favicon but not with something like this which does not resemble Google logo at all.

Sony announced the launch of its unique glass speaker system named Sauntina (model: NSA-PF1). It vibrates with a single three-dimensional depth, producing clear sound in 360 degrees. The glass tube can also be illuminated with the choice of three colors including blue, amber and purple. 360 degree sound is not a big deal and can be achieved easily using normal speakers too, but this is something new and sound reproduction is done using vibrating glass instead of coil as in normal speakers. It will go on sale in Japan on June 20th for 1,050,000 JPY.

There were rumors of a launch of a new version of Eee PC being launched at Computex and now it has been officially confirmed that arriving like a new-born to the ASUSTeK family by courier stork, will be the EBOX on 3rd June.

Its configuration details are not fully available at present but it has came to notice that it contains a 160GB Hard Drive, 2GB ram, will run Linux OS as found on the EeePC. CPU details are not known but it’s suspected that it will be Intel Atom. More details will be available when it’s officially launched.
