Credit card has made life a lot easier and safer. I can remember those days when I had a nightmare carrying lots of cash with me while travelling at night. Also sometimes I needed money but had less in my pocket and at that time there were very few ATM machines. Having a credit cards in pocket means you have your money in hand anytime when you need it without letting anyone (read thieves) know about it. There are some drawbacks of credit card too like its misuses but if you have all the knowledge of credit card safety, there is nothing to worry and services like cash back credit cards and balance transfer credit cards offered by banks, its good to have a credit card than carrying cash.
