PQI U173 USB flash drive

PQI announced the launch of its traveling USB flash drive ‘U173’ with gliding case design. It comes in 1 to 8GB of storage capacity and treated with polished surface, the combination of blue/black or silver/white gives it a simple and elegant look.

Compatible with U173 is PQI’s own researched and developed Ur-Smart mobile management software. There are ten functions in Ur-Smart and some of its featured functions are customizable user interface, outlook synchronization and PC-Lock.

Nokia roll out dual slide smartphone

Nokia expects to roll out its dual slide smartphone ‘X02NK’ in Japan market, which adopts a 5M camera with auto-focus function and Carl Zeiss lens. Supporting Nokia Maps and GPS function, the X02NK offers about 160 minutes of continuous calling in WCDMA mode and 240 minutes in GSM mode.

Coming with three different colors including red, storm blue and white, it is expected to be available after April.

ACER AS5520-7A1G16 wide screen notebook

ACER launched a 15.4-inch wide screen notebook pc ‘model: AS5520-7A1G16′ in Japan market, which runs on AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor. It comes with 160GB HDD, 1GB memory and 1,280 x 800 (WXGA) display resolution. This model also comes with a DVI out port to attach extra LCD monitor. It is expected to be available for 99,800 JPY.

Windshield Mount for iPhone

Griffin Technology today announced WindowSeat, Griffin’s windshield mount for iPhone.

With Apple’s recent announcement of mapping service to iPhone, WindowSeat puts your device at eye level on your car’s windshield with street maps, directions and more, safely in view and within reach.

WindowSeat’s mounting bracket holds your iPhone securely, while its corner-release tab lets you easily remove your device when you arrive at your destination, leaving WindowSeat locked in position for the next time you use it.

WindowSeat for iPhone will be available in March at $19.99.

Sony 13.3-inch notebook pc adopting Penryn CPU

Sony expects to launch its 13.3-inch wide notebook pc ‘VAIO type s’ in Japan market, which adopts Intel’s new Penryn CPU. It will have a 200GB HDD and 2GB memory. Featuring 5.5 hours of battery backup, it weighs only 1.98kg. It is expected to be available for 240,000 JPY. Very sleek in design and build quality is good.

3G iPhone may be announced

According to leaked news from AT&T, Apple Inc. may announce a 3G version of its insanely popular iPhone next week at Macworld San Fran. This can be bad move as people will wait for the 3G version and sales of the phone will be dropped drastically. Experts predict that if 3G ver. Is not released then some new features will be definitely announced in the iPhone which includes multi-person SMS/text sending and the new ‘Locate Me’ feature in Google Maps.
