Olympus Korea announced the launch of its top level DSLR camera ‘E-3’ and its new DSLR lenses in Korea market.

The E-3 has a 10.1M Live MOS sensor along with Olympus’ TruePic III digital processing engine. Fitted with 11 AF Full Twin Cross Sensor, the E-3 Digital SLR delivers the best AF speed in the world with the new Zuiko Digital Specific SWD 12-60mm lens. Supporting 5 frames-per-second nonstop shooting and 1/8000 second top shutter speed, it features a dual-axis swivel 2.5-inch Live View LCD covering all the viewing angles from low to high and side to side.

Digital Foci introduced its digital key chain photo viewer ‘Pocket Album’ with a 1.5-inch color LCD screen which lets you share and relive your photo moments wherever you go.

The Pocket Album holds a selection of up to 74 pictures with its 8MB internal memory, and the photos can be viewed by scrolling manually or through an automatic photo slideshow with adjustable slideshow intervals. It is available in black, silver and blue, and suggested price is 39.95 USD.

Samsung Electronics displayed its newest HSDPA mobile phone ‘SGH-i450’ at the Symbian Smartphone Show in London, which brings both attractive dual-slider design and various multimedia features.

The mobile phone applies HSDPA connectivity at 3.6 Mbps so that users are available to enjoy multimedia features with higher data download speeds. Running Symbian OS™ v9.2 and S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1, the Samsung i450 provides access to thousands of applications available from the S60 applications library and multitasking features in faster data speeds while ensuring the highest level of power efficiency and reliability from Symbian OS.

The Samsung i450 is a dual slider which slides up to reveal a spacious alphanumeric keypad for making calls or communication and down to reveal metallic speakers. Other features included an ergonomically shaped touch navigation half-wheel, a dedicated music interface, 2.4-inch large LCD screen, a 2M primary camera with flash and a VGA camera for video calling, 35MB internal memory and microSD™ slot.

Gefen presented ‘Wireless USB 2.0 Extension’ that transmits USB 2.0 signals up to 100 feet in distance and supports 54 Mbps data transmission speed.

This sender/receiver system delivers cable-free USB connectivity and is designed to offer a useful, plug and play method of removing USB devices from the computer station. It is effective in extending typical computer peripherals such as keyboard/mouse and printer with full operational functionality using a radio transmission based on 802.11a, b, g, n and Extreme USB technologies.

Adopting 4-port hub/receiver, the Gefen Wireless USB Extender works well for cross-platform computer systems including Mac OSX, Windows XP, Windows VISTA and Linux. Suggested price is 399 USD.

Samsung launched its high speed color laser printer ‘CLP-611NDK’ for corporate use in Korea market. Featuring 20pps speed for both color and black & white printing, it supports Duplex function with which you can effortlessly get both-sided printing without any help of print shop.

Using SynkThru function, remote management together with firmware upgrade is offered; you can handle linked printers and amount of remaining toner in them. It employed large capacity toner allowing you to print up to 5,500 black & white pages or 5,000 color pages. High-capacity cartridge containing up to 850 pages of paper are also built-in.

LG Electronics presented its high-end 19-inch wide LCD monitor ‘model-L197WH-PF’ during KES 2007, which features a good 5000:1 contrast ratio. This means you get lively picture quality while watching movies which usually appear slightly dull when compared to TV. Games also benefit and graphics appear better in this monitor.
