LG Electronics presented its high-end 19-inch wide LCD monitor ‘model-L197WH-PF’ during KES 2007, which features a good 5000:1 contrast ratio. This means you get lively picture quality while watching movies which usually appear slightly dull when compared to TV. Games also benefit and graphics appear better in this monitor. Sharp introduced its 14.1-inch wide LCD notebook pc named ‘Mebius’ equipped with 1-Seg tuner in Japanese market. It comes with 1,280 x 800(WXGA) screen resolution and UV coated body. UV coating prevents stains and this is something much needed for a laptop with white colored body.

Mebius will be launched in two models (PC-CW60V/CW50V), and they will be available at the end of October and November respectively. No words on pricing yet.

Narae Inter introduced an all-in-one multimedia wrist watch ‘BizWatch’ which is equipped with an inbuilt mp3 player and voice recorder with up to 72 hours recording time. MP3 player supports various multimedia files such as MP3, WMA, WAV and ADPCM. The BizWatch also can be utilized as a USB memory for it contains memory capacity from 256MB to 2GB.

At CEATEC 2007 Sharp presented its smart phone ‘Advanced/W-ZERO3 [es] (model: WS011SH)’, equipped with three input modes including dial key, QWERTY keyboard, and touch screen.

Running on Windows mobile 6 OS, it supports 3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) LCD, 802.11b/g wireless LAN, and internet browsing. Other useful features are – business card reading via 1.3M CMOS camera, schedule management function, electronic dictionary and Remote Lock function which enables the handset to be locked from remote area.
