Asus Ebox is ready for launch

There were rumors of a launch of a new version of Eee PC being launched at Computex and now it has been officially confirmed that arriving like a new-born to the ASUSTeK family by courier stork, will be the EBOX on 3rd June.

Its configuration details are not fully available at present but it has came to notice that it contains a 160GB Hard Drive, 2GB ram, will run Linux OS as found on the EeePC. CPU details are not known but it’s suspected that it will be Intel Atom. More details will be available when it’s officially launched.

Dell released its 22-inch high-end wide LCD monitor ‘Dell Crystal’ in Japan market, which features a tempered glass panel equipped with four speakers and touch sensor buttons. This is one such product which you will desire to have right now. It looks very futuristic and stylish.

Adopting a tripod stand, the Dell Crystal supports 1680 x 1050 resolution and 2,000:1 contrast ratio. Suggested price is 149,000 (JPY).

iRex light weight digital book reader ‘iLiad Book Edition’ is aimed at the book market. As a lower priced and simplified version, the new iLiad Book Edition will focus on book reading and will be available for sale beginning 9 May.

The Book Edition comes pre-loaded with 50 books ranging from Alice’s Adventures to Pride and Prejudice. With plenty of internal memory that can be extended up to 8 gigabytes, it is no longer necessary to choose which book to take. In addition, the screen allows for close to a 180-degree viewing angle and reads just like normal paper would.

Hanton showcased its in-dash car DVD player ‘HT-430’ during China Sourcing Fairs at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong, organized by Global Sources (NASDAQ: GSOL).

Adopting a 4.3-ich 16:9 wide touchscreen, the HT-430 is compatible DVD/CD/VCD/MP3/MPEG4. Other features included built-in GPS function, Bluetooth, built-in TV and AM/FM radio tuner.

Gaming notebook pc from ASUS

ASUS expects to launch its 15.4-inch gaming notebook pc ‘G1Sn’ in Japan market, which is equipped with GeForce 9500M GS and Intel’s 2.50GHz Core 2 Duo T9300 processor.

Running on Windows Vista Home Edition, the G1Sn adopts 250GB HDD and 2GB of RAM, and supports 1,440 x 900 (WXGA+) resolution. It is expected to be available on April 26th, and suggested price is 229,800 JPY.
