Reigncom released its 3.5-inch portable navigation device ‘iriver NV mini’ in Korea market, which runs on Gini map software. Adopting a 3.5-inch touch screen with 320×240 resolution, the iriver NV mini supports GPS navigation, video/audio playback, photo viewer and more. On that tiny resolution, watching videos may not be a pleasing experience but its ok to have it because afterall its not the mainstream video playback device. Offering up to 2.5 hours of built-in battery life, it supports external memory capability of 8GB.

Meritech launched its low-end (but high end looking) mini PMP ‘M35 Touch’. AS an upgraded model of ‘M35′, the M35 Touch is equipped with a 3.5-inch touch screen, DMB antenna, and built-in dual speakers. Featuring a slim design, the M35 Touch supports various music formats (MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, APE, and FLAC), SRS WOW HD technology, electronic dictionary function, flash game, and more. It will be available in 8GB and 16GB model.

There were reports of dropped calls from iPhone users and it has been causing problems at Apple since the launch of the handset. The problem occurs mainly when users are on the move and the connections attempts to switch between cells, or from 3G to another flavor of network. Latest report from Yahoo News blames onto the shoulders of chipset manufacturer Infineon Technologies. German company supplies the chips which are supposed to make switches between connections seamless but it’s not causing the problem. Sony Ericsson announced that its limited edition handset ‘C902 Titanium Silver’ is James Bond’s latest phone in the upcoming blockbuster Quantum of Solace, which will be released in November of this year.

The C902 Titanium Silver is 5-megapixel camera phone featuring auto focus function, eight camera touch-keys and continuous shooting support up to nine photos. The Sony Ericsson C902 Titanium Silver will be available in selected markets in Q4 of 2008 for a limited period. No information about the pricing yet.
