Being a gadget freak, I check out as many gadget sites as possible everyday but not every site has got the type of stuff I am looking for. Most of the time, everyone has got almost the same content and even same images. Logitech universal remote is one such hot gadget on which I needed more information but what I can see on every major gadget site is glossy apple products like iphone and ipods shown from different angles, and about hacks and mods in them. For gadget and tech news that matter, I always depend on gadgetadvisor.com which is a Gadget Advisor site, for example I get to know about top extensions for Firefox, other software and hardware news and these are only selected news from the industry which really have importance in our life. Important things like online backup service, computer resources etc. everything is there. So if you need relevant information and do not want to spend hours browsing thru internet junk then gadgetadvisor.com is definitely for you.

Dropped calls problem in iPhone

iphone

There were reports of dropped calls from iPhone users and it has been causing problems at Apple since the launch of the handset. The problem occurs mainly when users are on the move and the connections attempts to switch between cells, or from 3G to another flavor of network. Latest report from Yahoo News blames onto the shoulders of chipset manufacturer Infineon Technologies. German company supplies the chips which are supposed to make switches between connections seamless but it’s not causing the problem. So its something which any new software / firmware release will not be able to fix as it’s the problem with chip itself.
