xbox360 cpu

It was seen that almost 33 percent of Xbox 360 were failing and it was due to high CPU temperature. To solve this problem, Microsoft introduced a new 65nm processor codenamed ‘Falcon’ and a revised CPU cooler for it. Unlike older 90nm processor; this new 65nm processor will consume less power, can run at higher clock and will be cheaper to manufacture too.

XP production extended

xp box

After some days of releasing its new operating system Windows Vista, Microsoft stopped the supply of Windows XP for the new systems but now on demand, this OS production is extended for 5 months. I have myself seen people using Vista were always experiencing compatibility issues like their old software was not working or some device failed to recognize their computer after they upgraded to Vista. Upgrading to newer version of software which support vista is easy but buying new hardware just because of OS not recognizing is sure a pain. I think Microsoft forgot to release windows xp sp3 or there will be no sp3 for xp which was indeed much needed.

halo 3 scratched disc

The special edition packing for the new game from Microsoft, Halo 3 resulted in scratching of the disc. People who bought the game complained of this scratch problem and Microsoft did listen to them and provided a free disc replacement. The scratch was however a minor one in almost all cases and there was no problem in the game play due to that.

Unlocked iPhones will soon be useless

September 25th, 2007 by Mohd. Hashim Khan

Soon those unlocked Apple iPhones will be useless as Apple told in its recent press release that future software update for iPhone will make those unlocked phones permanently inoperable. Few days back we heard of some unlocking software available on internet which unlock the phone so that it becomes SIM free and can be used with any network. Apple clarified that users who make unauthorized modifications to the software on their iPhone violate their iPhone software license agreement and void their warranty. The permanent inability to use an iPhone due to installing unlocking software was not covered under the iPhone’s warranty.
