Sony will be launching world’s first OLED TV’XEL-1’ on December 1, 2007 in Japanese market. Available in 27” and 11” these OLED displays have resolution of 960×540 and a good contrast ratio rate of 1,000,000:1 is the main advantage of OLED technology.
