It was seen that almost 33 percent of Xbox 360 were failing and it was due to high CPU temperature. To solve this problem, Microsoft introduced a new 65nm processor codenamed ‘Falcon’ and a revised CPU cooler for it. Unlike older 90nm processor; this new 65nm processor will consume less power, can run at higher clock and will be cheaper to manufacture too.
