XboX 360 completely disassembled

During Tokyo Game Show 2007, disassembled Xbox 360 was displayed as you can see in the photos.

Xbox 360 power adapter & exhaust fan.

Xbox 360 mainboard, using IBM Central processing unit. Look at those mammoth copper heat sink for CPU!

I had to take mine apart to fix RROD. How they got the goddamn case apart without breaking a few clips I’ll never know >.>

Actually thy have not taken a xbox apart but displayed each components. You know they are manufacturer so they have these spares in abundance to throw in exhibitions like these.

The overly massive amount of thermal paste for the CPU tells me at least some of this was previously assembled.

Nice catch there! however second CPU is clean. The board is one single part as a whole so small heatsink are sticked during manufacturing process while large ones are put during assembly, Thats the reason second one (main IBM processor) is clean as it bears that large heatsink.
