Olympic Games’ computer system which was hosting the Olympic website crashed just after 30 minutes of working. The system, designed for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, was switched off for maintenance. Xinhua (Chinese news site) reported that there were eight million hits and 200,000 orders of tickets per second, now this is something that can easily take down even the more robust server system. Ticketmaster, which hosts the site, is working on ways to fix the problem.
