Yahoo announced that it has become a platinum sponsor of the Apache Software Foundation. Apache is wonderful enterprise grade open source web server software and most UNIX servers have Apache installed. It’s open source so it’s free which has attracted so many users. Yahoo is very generous is such things as they also provide hosting to Wikipedia which is yet again an open source project. Good job Yahoo!
