Indian PayPal users received a mail from PayPal few minutes back about some upcoming changes to PayPal User agreement for India.

This is totally ridiculous, now Indian users can’t buy anything using their PayPal funds and only use it to accept payment that too with $500 limit. This is the worst ever hit Indian PayPal users (incuding me) will get because many of us rely on PayPal for purchasing domains and buying stuff online.

With effect from 1 March 2011, you are required to comply with the requirements set out in the notification of the Reserve Bank of India governing the processing and settlement of export-related receipts facilitated by online payment gateways (“RBI Guidelines”).

So you think .exe’s and other executable files downloaded from internet may have virus in them? As every kid knows about this, virus writers have become smart and now they spread virus through stuff which we can never imagine having virus/trojans in them.

Free templates, we love them because they cost nothing and make our website/blog look good without paying any money. Free wordpress templates are quite popular downloads and due to this now trojans are spread through these free wordpress templates. Some days back while searhing for free zen cart tremplates I found a site which had some very nice free wordpress templates instead, I was almost pinching myself that how can these be free (they looked like premium templates) and it was not from any warez or any kind of illegal download website either. I downloaded some of them and later on my antivirus software catches them as trojan during full system scan.

Just like most virus are made for Windows OS because its popular, popular CMS are targetted by virus wrtiers. Best will be to stick to reputed sites for templates downloads and design your own if you want a really good design without paying a premium price. Also keep your antivirus definition up to date and do full system scan periodically.

Sometimes you need to reach to that deep buried folder and after lots of clicking efforts on folder icons one by one you reach that subfolder, to work easily you hit the maximize button but miss it by few pixels and hit the close icon instead and boom! There goes all your effort in reaching that folder down to drain. Conversely you just want to close that useless popup window but you miss close icon and maximize it to full screen instead. This happens with all of us and surprisingly there is a very simple solution to it, provide a little gap between close and maximize icon. I have illustrated that in image above that I created in photoshop (not really made any modofication of such type in windows). I hope someone from Microsoft see this and provide us with patch which can do this change to Windows operating system. I would be first to download this patch.
